Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) asks schools to carry out online searches on shortlisted candidates as part of the process of assessing suitability. If you are shortlisted for the role, we may carry out an online search based on the information you provide to the school. If we carry out a search, we will also search more widely for any other online information about you. If you are not shortlisted for the role, online searches will not be carried out on you.

What happens after applying?

Once you have sent your application form in, a member of our team will be in contact to organise an interview.

After the interview, the team will be in contact telling you either your successful or unsuccessful. If your successful, you will be invited in for an induction and we will organise a few shadow shifts with a experienced member of the team.

What do we mean by casual contract?

Majority of our staff are casuals and it allows the best opportunity to be flexible when choosing your hours. You are not committed to any fixed amount of hours, allowing you to work and study or work at multiple jobs. The majority of our roles, you have an opportunity to sign up to shifts, allowing you to work when you can without changing any plans in your personal life.

How do I become a Lifeguard?

To become part of our Lifeguard team, you will need to hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, with the RLSS. To find out more about the qualification, please visit our course page.

Once you hold the qualification, you can apply by completing our application form.

All lifeguards will need to pass a competency exam following from a successful interview.
