Hi! My name is Mia, and I am a qualified yoga teacher. The style of yoga I teach is vinyasa based and highly adaptable for all levels. I use the “Fringe. Yoga Method”, which aims to nourish the mind, body and soul by focusing on a different element each week – Earth, Water, Fire and Air – and builds each class around that particular element for a rounded, full body experience.
The Pregnancy Yoga classes I teach are a fusion of pregnancy yoga and hypno-birthing – visualisations, breathing techniques and positive affirmations that can be used during labour to help reprogram the subconscious mind and reframe any negative misconceptions around labour.
I am passionate about breaking through the idea perpetuated by social media images that yoga is for a certain type of person. Yoga is for everyone and I ensure my classes are inclusive and accessible to all. I truly believe that yoga is ‘medicine’ and has so many benefits mentally and physically, which is why I am committed to sharing it with as many people as I can.
